Each year The Clinic for Academic Therapy offers both classes and
private lessons to prepare students for the following standardized tests. Links
to download current information are available at the bottom of this page.
It is never too early (or too late) to prepare for the tests that determine futures. We do personalized
preparation for the following standardized tests: ISEE, HSPT, SAT, ACT, GED, TASP, GRE
The following are
those Workshops scheduled for the coming 2010 fall and winter:
ISEE
The Independent School Entrance Exam is required of many of the area private schools for admittance.
The Clinic for Academic Therapy is pleased to be offering a workshop to prepare students
for the Independent School
Entrance Examination (ISEE).
These
workshops will prepare students for the January test dates here in
Houston.This year there will be a number of options
from which to choose. Either of the choices provides a comprehensive preparation for the ISEE, including both testing strategies
and content support. Choices include an eleven-week class and a seven-week class. Each has the same number of hours:
the eleven-week class is a two hour long class and the seven-week class is three hours each time, with first and the fourth
class going over about 30 minutes.
Classes
are $625 and include all materials.
Classes will be offered at the following times:

HSPT
The High School Placement Test is required by several of the
area Catholic Schools for admittance.
This
test is usually given at the end of January each year. The Clinic for Academic Therapy offers a class to help prepare students
for this test. The class is scheduled from 3:00 to 6:30 PM on the Saturdays listed in the chart below.
The HSPT prep class is $625 and includes all materials.
The specific 2012 test date is
yet to be announced. The class dates and topics are outlined in the following chart:
